noah ethan and i are going clamming tomorrow with a couple of my good buddies from work... we are heading to Mocrocks beach on the washington coast...this is something i have never done before...
this whole adventure started a couple of months ago when i was talking to mike, a friend of mine at costco... he was telling me how good these particular little guys are and how you limit at 15... by the end on the conversation he had convinced me that i and my two oldest boys needed to go with him... that would mean 45 more clams for him...( im gonna keep a few, but he'll end up with more than the limit of 15 he would have gotten if he had gone alone)... and we will have had a great experience... clamming for the first time...
so... after we, (mike and i) persuaded a couple of more guys to come with us... we hope to limit all of us and bring home a bundle...miles, chris, and mark hopefully will join us and i will definitely post tomorrow night about this experience...if you have any clamming advice... get it to us soon... we leave right after work for the beach...

I LOVED clamming when I was a kid.
Here are my tips:
Super long rubber gloves and turn your face when you go in for one!
The best part was watching other people get spit on by the clams, but it's NO fun when it happens to you!
The boys are going to have so much fun and get super dirty...WOOHOO!
Have FUN and LAUGH! It's really fun! Don't gross out at how they feel - that's also important - but it's a blast. Can't wait to hear how it goes!
