Today was Abby's last class field trip for the year (her last day of school is tomorrow). We walked from the school to Powderworks Park, where the kids played, ate lunch, and Abby showed off her mad basketball under-the-leg skills!

so excited for you guys getting that new camera- canon's are the best! if you want any photog book recs to go along with it, let me know. i did a bunch of research- its so fun. and that camera will be something you NEVER regret!

this is the #1 book i have and love "The better photo guide to digital photography" by Jim Miotke." i ordered it off amazon b/c my library didn't carry it. i have checked a bunch out of the library off and on. but this one is my keeper and reference!
Thanks, Candace! Our libary doesn't have it either, but does have another one by the same author on photographing children. I put that one on hold and am going to check out the one you recommended on Amazon.
