the battle of the birds...

the river ridge hawks took on the tumwater t-birds in an epic showdown in tumwater today... a light rain was falling onto the turf and our boys were ready for battle... (number 9 noah and #55 ethan)

the first half was close... a 6-6 tie... so motivational words by the coaches sparked our team to a brilliant second half...
noah and ethan both were involved in the defense and the last tackle of the game... first time both boys were in on the same tackle this season... very cool for me...




so as the fog lifted and the battle ended... our HAWKS were left standing... they faced the giants of tumwater and prevailed.... HAWKS 19 - t-birds 6
