back from the beach...

we just got back from 3 days at ocean shores... the kids loved the special time with grandpa and grandma from north dakota...

Football Camp & Other Fun

Noah has had football camp the past couple of weeks and is loving it. Ethan joined him last night for camp and is now considering playing again this fall. The school where they practice also has 6 (yes, six) tennis courts and a track, so Abby and Cole and I have gone with them to play tennis and run (ok, well, I play tennis with them, but I don't run ... sorry Candace).

football is upon us...

mike sellers from the washington redskins, and from the lacey area(n. thurston high) stopped by practice tonight... this was a very cool experience for noah...

mike took some time to answer questions from the boys and then posed for a team picture with the boys...

needless to say... # 9 was very pumped about football tonight...

Last Field Trip

Today was Abby's last class field trip for the year (her last day of school is tomorrow). We walked from the school to Powderworks Park, where the kids played, ate lunch, and Abby showed off her mad basketball under-the-leg skills!

Summer Fun...A Little Early

Although today it is cloudy and barely 70-degrees, all of last week it was sunny and hot and wonderful! The kids cooled off in the sprinkler and had a blast!

Even though we loved the super warm and sunny weather of last week, we are thankful for the cooler weather this week - hoping that it will help our grass seed to grow!

noah moved much of the 6 yards of topsoil... hard work on a 85 degree day... papa helped with the prep work...

the pile was delievered while i was at work... so noah sent me this picture... ( i pleaded for overtime at work... but that didnt work)(... : ) )

mom and cole also helped so much... got it all done and we are ready for the next step... grass seed...

DuPont Historical Museum Field Trip
